What is PEO?
Similarly to an umbrella company, a PEO supplier provides a complete outsourced and fully compliant employment solution. It serves as the contractor’s employer and assumes all employer responsibilities. Under the PEO model, a contractor is quoted their actual gross salary, much like in a traditional PAYE employment model. It provides more clarity to the contractor regarding their take-home pay and the hirer does not have to worry about hiring, compliance, and everything else that comes with employing contractors.
